Legendary soap diva extraordinaire Susan Lucci (Erica, All My Children) will stop by The Nate Berkus show on Thursday, April 14 to discuss everything her new autobiography, All My Life, and working on All My Children for over 40 years. She’ll also surprise three of her biggest fans who were under they impression they were being made over to look like their favorite diva. Imagine their shock when they get to meet THE daytime diva herself!

During her interview, Lucci tells Nate why she decided to write an autobiography after all these years. “It was my son. My son came and said to me, ‘Mom, I think you should write a book.’ I had never thought I was going to be somebody to write a book. I’ve really been very private. I hardly ever spoken about my personal life. I thought, ‘You know what? This is a real opportunity to speak to four generations of people who watch All My Children, and let them in to what went on behind the scenes, and my from my point of view with the whole Emmy thing, and with the things that people have seen publicly. Also in my personal life, things that nobody would ever have any way to know.”

She’ll also share with the audience some secrets to having a successful marriage! Unlike her alter-ego Erica, Susan’s been married to her husband for 41 years! “For me it’s: don’t forget the reasons you fell in love in the first place, and keep track of those things every day. If you think his eyes are sexy; you think his smile looks good; he’s got great legs; remember that, and tell him. We’re very easy to say the critical things, but tell him the good things too. Give the credit where it’s due.”
