'7th Heaven' Star Headed to Mystic Falls

7th Heaven star David Gallagher will join The Vampire Diaries for the first two episodes of season three.

Gallagher will play a werewolf named Ray Sutton. Gallagher is best known for playing Simon Camden on The WB’s (and later the CW’s) 7th Heaven, where he spent 8 seasons. The actor recently appeared in J.J. Abram’s sci-fi thriller Super 8.

The Vampire Diaries returns for its third season on Thursday, September 15.
