'Buffy' Alum Charisma Carpenter Plays 'The Lying Game'

Angel star and former Buffy the Vampire Slayer alum Charisma Carpenter has been cast on the ABC Family drama The Lying Game reports TV Guide.

The actress will play Rebecca “Annie” Sewell, the estranged sister of Phyllis Chamberlain (Sydney Barrosse) and aunt of Sutton’s best friend, Char (Kirsten Prout).

Rebecca’s return to town also brings back secrets that Alec (Adrian Padsar) and Ted (Andy Buckley) would prefer to remain buried. Those familiar with the novels will know just how important this role is to the series.
