Daisy Duke Heads to 'Y&R'

A new day, another new addition to The Young and the Restless. Dukes of Hazzard star Catherine Bach joins the cast of Y&R beginning in February.

Entertainment Weekly reports Bach will play Anita, the “scheming” mother of new Genoa City transplant Chelsea (former All My Children star Melissa Claire Egan). How she factors into Chelsea’s storyline hasn’t been revealed, but if she’s anything like her blackmailing daughter, expect a hot mess.

The actress is best known for playing Daisy Duke on CBS series The Dukes of Hazzard from 1979-1985. The actress reports to set January 10 and will first air February 7.
