Emily Owens, M.D.” returns to The CW this week and Emily has got a big problem. Will and Cassandra are growing closer and the last thing Emily wants is to see her rival end up with the guy she’s crazy about so Emily tries to keep them apart in “Emily and the Predator.”

[SPOILERS AHEAD]

ICYMI: ‘Emily Owens, M.D.’ Recap: “Emily and the Outbreak”

From The CW: “ASKING FOR WHAT YOU WANT — Emily (Mamie Gummer) and Micah (Michael Rady) are frantic when they discover their patient needs a kidney transplant immediately, but they are baffled when she mysteriously refuses to accept the kidney from her new husband.  Elsewhere, Emily assists Dr. Hamada (guest star Brittany Ishibashi, “Political Animals”) and Dr. Bandari (Necar Zadegan), with a risky surgery after they discover that one of the babies their patient is carrying for her sister suffers from a defective heart valve.  Meanwhile, in an effort to keep Cassandra (Aja Naomi King) away from Will (Justin Hartley), Emily tries to land the job as Dr. Bandari’s research assistant.  However, her competition is Cassandra, who is willing to play dirty in order to get what she wants.  Kelly McCreary also stars.  Bharat Nalluri directed the episode written by John C. Kelley.”

Yikes, it sounds like it’s going to be another rough week for Emily because scheming isn’t really her thing so that’s probably going to backfire. The mystery surrounding the patient is also intriguing. Check out the photos below for a sneak preview of the episode as well as 5 Reasons to Watch, courtesy of the CW.

“Emily Owens, M.D.” airs Tuesday, Nov. 13 at 9:00 p.m. EST on The CW.
