The network will air a season 3 marathon and recap special one week prior to the season premiere, which finds the girls struggling in the aftermath of the lodge fire.
It’s almost time to return to Rosewood and as per usual, ABC Family is airing a marathon. Beginning at 2:00 pm EST/PST on Tuesday, June 4th and running till 8:00 pm, the network will re-air the last six episodes of the spring season. At 8:00 pm EST/PST, tune in for Pretty Little Liars: A LiArs Guide to Rosewood for a refresher on the three previous seasons. At this point, who couldn’t use a reminder of all the craziness that’s happened? The recap special will feature new voice-over from Mona, tracing the very first text message from “A” to the most recent Red Coat spotting.
Season 4 kicks off the following Tuesday in an episode titled ‘A is for A-l-i-v-e.’ Our favorite liars are more desperate than ever to figure out what new scheme “A” is plotting. After the lodge fire that took place in the season three finale, the girls have no one to turn to and must depend on themselves, especially now that Mona is back to being targeted as well. Meanwhile, Aria finds it difficult to see Ezra after their break and Emily begins to plan for a life after high school.
“A” sends Toby in a new direction. What is in the trunk is revealed and a shocking discovery makes its way through Rosewood.
