Danny and Jo get their families to sit down for dinner together, but they don’t exactly break bread and get along.

In next week’s episode titled, ‘Grief is a Five-Letter Word,’ the school hires a grief counselor (guest star Keiko Agena) to deal with the murder. Jo maintains Danny’s innocence and is determined to prove it to her father, who isn’t exactly happy about her rekindled friendship with Danny. In an effort to show that Danny isn’t all bad, he and Jo decide to have a dinner with both their families. The dark history forces the dinner to go awry and the adults clash.

Meanwhile, Lacey is struggling with the death of her best friend. A former “frenemy,” Phoebe (guest star Brittany Curran) reaches out to her.

Gavin Polone directed the episode written by Adam Milch.
