Golden Globe Nominations: ‘House of Cards,’ ‘Behind the Candelabra’ Lead TV Pack

Nominations for the 71st Annual Golden Globe Awards were revealed today by The Hollywood Foreign Press Association, honoring the best in film and television. Netflix’s House of Cards leads the TV pack with four Golden Globe nominations including Best TV Drama.

Breaking Bad, Downton Abbey, The Good Wife, House of Cards and Masters of Sex scored nominations for Best Television Series, Drama. Missing from the list? Showtime’s Homeland, which was snubbed in all the drama categories.

Orphan Black star Titiana Maslany was nominated for Best Actress in a Drama series for the first time. She’ll face stiff competition in a category that includes Robin Wright (House of Cards), Kerry Washington (Scandal), Taylor Schilling (Orange is the New Black) and Juliana Marguiles (The Good Wife).
