Hallmark Channel Renews ‘Home & Family’ for Season Three

Hallmark Channel has announced its original Daytime Emmy-nominated show, Home & Family, has been renewed for a third season.

The fun and informative two-hour lifestyle program, currently in its second season on the network, is co-hosted by Emmy® Award nominee Mark Steines and TV personality and bestselling culinary author and expert Cristina Ferrare.  From its start in 2012, the show has been the ultimate destination for helping viewers live their best lives, showing audiences helpful “how-to” segments on everything from cooking tasty recipes to crafting the perfect DIY décor, finding the best bargains, discovering the newest at-home gadgets and learning weight-loss tips, all while incorporating top entertainment in the form of celebrity guest interviews and musical performances.  Home & Family airs weekdays at 10am ET/PT, 9C.

Filming from a full-functional 2,400 square foot Colonial-style home on the Universal Studio Hollywood backlot, “Home & Family” brings viewers inside to deliver segments on the best in cooking, crafting, decorating, fashion, health, beauty, fitness, financial advice, pet care, lawn and garden tips, as well as interviews with celebrity guests revealing their unknown talents or skills and live performances from some of Hollywood’s biggest stars.  In Season 2, viewers can continue to look forward to seeing fun segments including spring cleaning suggestions, Earth Day art exhibits, July 4th celebrity home barbecues and the spectacular Universal Studios fireworks display.  Season 3 will begin airing in October, 2014.

“Home & Family” Season Two to date deliveries have increased since Season One among W25-54 by 31%, A25-54 by 24% and total viewers P2+ by 19%. After three weeks in 2Q’14, deliveries for “Home & Family” have increased since last year among W25-54 by 73%, A25-54 by 55% and total viewers P2+ by 18%. (Source: The Nielsen Company)
