We’re still busy watching the Star Wars Rebels season three trailer that premiered at Star Wars Celebration Europe over the weekend. One of the biggest trailer reveals was the appearance of Rebel pilot Wedge Antilles, who first appeared in A New Hope back in 1977. The trailer shows Wedge just before he deflects to the Rebellion – making his appearance all the more interesting for Star Wars fans.
In a series on tweets posted after the trailer’s debut, former iCarly star Nathan Kress revealed he is the voice behind fan-favorite Wedge and shared his excitement to be a part of the Star Wars universe, calling this role a “dream come true.”
I'll be playing Wedge in the upcoming season 3 of #StarWarsRebels. Check out the trailer! https://t.co/xKH3oiHH4E https://t.co/cudxOKP1yH

Ironically, Wedge was always one of my favorite characters to pretend to be as a kid, so this is the literal definition of a dream come true

The fact that I can say "That's me on the left in the Imperial uniform" BLOWS MY MIND. pic.twitter.com/LHjJ35rJMu
