Ahead of the Castle Rock series premiere, Hulu has debuted a special mini-documentary to whet fans’ appetites. The Search for Castle Rock gives viewers an inside look at the actual places and events in Maine that inspired Stephen King’s notorious fictional town.

The documentary features exclusive interviews with King, along with Castle Rock cast and crew. You can stream The Search for Castle Rock right now on Hulu (subscription required). The first three episodes of Castle Rock premiere on Hulu Wednesday, July 25th, with a new episode each week thereafter.

A psychological-horror series set in the Stephen King multiverse, Castle Rock is an original story that combines the mythological scale and intimate character storytelling of King’s best-loved works, weaving an epic saga of darkness and light, played out on a few square miles of Maine woodland.

Castle Rock stars André Holland, Bill Skarsgard, Melanie Lynskey, Jane Levy, Sissy Spacek and Scott Glenn. J.J. Abrams is the executive producer. Visit for more.
