The results of the TV Source Magazine Soap Opera Pulse Poll are in! Your votes determined the top soap stars and couples for the week of September 10, 2018. In the most voted week of the Pulse Poll yet, we have a return to #1 for one actor, a new #1 for actress and a close fight for #1 couple!
The Rundown
- 33,045 total votes were cast during the voting period.
- General Hospital’s Billy Miller returns to #1 for his third non-consecutive week. He dethrones last week’s #1 Chandler Massey (Will, DAYS), who falls to #3.
- Days of our Lives’ Alison Sweeney is voted #1 actress for the first time since the re-launch. Sweeney was a mainstay at #1 in previous years, regularly topping the actress poll for consecutive weeks at a time.
- Less than 100 votes separate this week’s #1 and #2 Victoria Konefal (Ciara, DAYS).
- GH’s Drew & Sam overtake DAYS’ Will & Sonny to earn #1 couple, but by a razor thin margin of 15 votes!
- B&B’s Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy) earns her highest chart to date at #3.
- Y&R’s Sharon Case also charts her highest at #4.
- Speaking of Y&R, the new blood continues to perform well on the TV Source Pulse Poll, racking up six placements this week.
