It’s Newman today, Newman tomorrow, and Newman forever this week on The Young and the Restless as we see Genoa City’s leading family shaking things. We have Adam reaching out for help, Victoria taking control, Nikki receiving an intriguing offer, and Victor asking a family member to choose sides. Find out what happens in ourYoung and the Restless spoilers for the week of August 17th, 2020.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: “Message Received”

Heavy is the head that wears the crown but it looks light as a feather to Victoria as she reasserts her claim to the head seat at Newman Enterprises. Tired of contributions to the company being undervalued, Victoria calls a press conference and makes it plain that she, and she alone, is in charge at Newman. In a quest to help Adam, Victor and Chelsea join forces. Although hesitant to get involved, Sharon agrees to help Adam. This draws some reservations to his motives towards enlisting Sharon’s help from Rey (Are we finally getting some type of Shey drama?) and it has Chelsea seeking answers from Sharon towards the end of the week. Nick makes no bones about being all in with Phyllis and even inspires her latest venture at the Grand Phoenix. By Friday, Abby is snooping around for information on Phyllis’ plans. Girl, haven’t you heard what curiosity did to the cat? (We personally wish Phyllis would eat Abby up for lunch, as she would have already done in years past, and move this storyline along).
