Fox has announced their premiere dates for their upcoming 2021 fall schedule. The network scheduled the premiere dates close together, opting not to have a spread out premiere release schedule like some of the other networks.

Kicking off the fall schedule for Fox is the return of 9-1-1 on Monday September 20. This will lead into the new scripted series The Big Leap which follows a group of everyday people who are competing for a spot on a stage for a reality competition. The trailer for the season gave off big Glee vibes.

Medical drama The Resident returns Tuesday September 21 leading into Our Kind of People a new soapy drama. This series follows a strong-willed, single mom as she sets out to reclaim her family’s name and make an impact with her revolutionary haircare line that highlights the innate, natural beauty of black women. But she soon discovers a dark secret about her own mother’s past that will turn her world upside-down and shake up this community forever.

Wednesday September 22 will see the return of everyone’s favorite singing guessing game The Masked Singer. This will lead into the new singing reality competition series Alter Ego. Alanis Morissette, Nick Lachey, Grimes and will.i.am will be the judging panel with Rocsi Diaz as host.

Animation will return to the schedule on Sunday September 26 with the returns of The Simpsons, sophomore series The Great North, Bob’s Burgers and Family Guy.

Rounding out the schedule will be Thursday Night Football which kicks off Thursday October 7. Additionally, Fridays will continue to air WWE Smackdown which airs year round.
