Freeridge premieres on Netflix February 2. The On My Block spinoff series is a coming of age comedy following sibling rivals Gloria and Ines and their friends Demi and Cameron who have unleashed a curse bringing dark misfortune into their lives. There’s a new core four in town and an unforgettable adventure to be had. 

Apple TV+ has canceled Shantaram after one season. The series based on the book by Gregory David Roberts aired its first and final season finale December 16. 

Henry Cavill will star in Amazon’s Warhammer 40,000 adaptation. Warhammer 40,000 is set in the far future, where humanity stands at the edge of what might be its brightest future, or its darkest age. The threats to humankind’s empire are many — traitors driven by the fires of ambition, alien empires sworn to reclaim the stars, and the corruption of reality by malevolent gods.

Netflix has canceled Blockbuster after one season. The comedy series starred Randall Park, Melissa Fumero and J.B. Smoove. 

The second special of The Owl House’s third and final season will air on Disney Channel January 21. Luz and her friends race against Belos to confront the Collector and save the Boiling Isles. The first of the three season three specials premiered October 15. 

The current Pokémon anime series will air a final epilogue season of eleven episodes early next year. This will bring the journey of Ash and Pikachu to a close. A new series will then premiere with new protagonists and all new Pokémon.

Season eleven of Letterkenny will premiere on hulu December 26. The residents of Letterkenny belong to one of three groups: the Hicks, the Skids, and the Hockey Players, who are constantly feuding over seemingly trivial matters that often end with someone getting their ass kicked. In the new season, the small town contends with the best chip flavors, lost dogs, an influencer invasion, Skid business, a mystery at the Church Bake Sale, unwanted guests at beer league, and the Degens stirring up trouble. And that’s just for starters. 

Peacock has ordered Untitled Ian Mcculloch Project to series. The horror thriller follows a disparate group of people on a ranch who must come together in the face of a mysterious threat. It is inspired by the novel Stinger by Robert McCammon. 

The Price Is Right at Night kicks off 2023 with new themed primetime specials celebrating superfans, grocery store employees, geniuses and more. A redemption episode will air January 4. “Grocery Store Employees” airs January 11. “Geniuses” airs January 18. “Service Industry Workers” airs January 25. “Superfans” airs February 1. 

Mariah Carey: Merry Christmas to All! concert special will air on MTV December 23. The Queen of Christmas spreads holiday cheer with dazzling performances of her epic holiday hits. The special will debut on CBS December 20 and on Paramount+. 

Faly Rakotohavana and Jordyn McIntosh have joined the cast of Onyx Collective’s Unprisoned. The join Kerry Washington, Delroy Lindo and Marque Richardson in the comedy series set to stream on hulu. 

Jack Dylan Grazer has been cast in Disney+’s The Spiderwick Chronicles. He will voice the character Thimbletack. The series is based on the book series by Tony DiTerlizzi and Holly Black. 

Billy Magnussen, Jessica Hynes, Darren Goldstein, Lolly Adefope and Isaac Powell have joined the cast of HBO’s pilot The Franchise. Daniel Brühl and Richard E. Grant will also recur in the potential comedy series. 

Trolley premieres on Netflix December 19. A sudden tragedy brings the wife of an assemblyman out of her private life and forces her to confront family secrets and her own troubling past.
