CBS has announced its upcoming schedule for its unscripted summer series. Some series are premiering later than usual, likely scheduled to run into the fall season as the writers strike continues.
Secret Celebrity Renovation returns with new episodes Friday, July 28. Hosted by Nischelle Turner, the series provides celebrities with a hands-on opportunity to show their gratitude to someone in their hometowns through a surprise renovation. This season’s featured celebrities include such names as Damar Hamlin, Phil Keoghan, JB Smoove and Max Thieriot. Home improvement contractor and television personality Rob “Boston Rob” Mariano and interior designer Sabrina Soto return to the design team.
Big Brother kicks off its milestone 25th season with a special 90 minute premiere episodes Wednesday, August 2. Following the premiere, the series will air Sundays at 8, Wednesdays at 8 and Thursdays at 9, featuring the live evictions.
Musical game show Superfan will now premiere Wednesday, August 9 at 9. Hosts Nate Burleson and Keltie Knight will feature contestants vying in multiple rounds of play to prove they are their favorite artist’s most deserving supporter. Each episode features one music superstar as they crown their biggest fan. This season’s featured celebrities include Kelsea Ballerini, Gloria Estefan, Little Big Town, LL COOL J, Pitbull and Shania Twain.
The Challenge: USA returns for season two Thursday, August 10 at 8. Two episodes a week will air for its first three weeks, Thursdays at 10 and Sundays at 9. On August 31, the show will air only on Thursdays.
