The new season of Doctor Who premieres on Disney+ May 10 at 7:00 p.m. EDT. The Doctor and his companion Ruby Sunday travel across time and space, with adventures all the way from the Regency era in England, to war-torn future worlds. Throughout their adventures in the TARDIS – a time-traveling ship shaped like a police box – they encounter incredible friends and dangerous foes, including a terrifying bogeyman, and the Doctor’s most powerful enemy yet.

The Penguin is coming to Max this fall. Starring Colin Farrell as Oz Cobb (aka The Penguin), the eight-episode DC drama series continues The Batman epic crime saga that began with the blockbuster “The Batman,” and centers on the character played by Farrell in the film. Cristin Milioti, Rhenzy Feliz, Michael Kelly, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Deirdre O’Connell, Clancy Brown, and Michael Zegen also star.

Dinner with the Parents premieres April 18 on Amazon Freevee. The series is a single-camera comedy about a weekly family get-together that always devolves into chaos. Every Friday evening, the closely-knit Langers prove that it takes those we love best to bring out our worst. On tonight’s menu: pranks, schemes, unwelcome neighbors, childhood crushes, at least one felony, many very bad decisions, and a scrumptious, freshly-baked apple crisp.

The English dub of Mashle: Magic and Muscles season two begins March 23 on Crunchyroll. This is a world of magic. This is a world in which magic is casually used by everyone. In a deep, dark forest in this world of magic, there is a boy who is singlemindedly working out. His name is Mash Burnedead, and he has a secret. He can’t use magic. All he wanted was to live a quiet life with his family, but people suddenly start trying to kill him one day and he somehow finds himself enrolled in Magic School. There, he sets his sights on becoming a “Divine Visionary,” the elite of the elite. Will his ripped muscles work against the best and brightest of the wizarding world? The curtain rises on this off-kilter magical fantasy in which the power of being jacked crushes any spell!

Disney has given a series order to Wizards its followup series to Wizards of Waverly Place. Production on the new series begins next month in Los Angeles and is slated to premiere later this year on Disney Channel and Disney+. The series reunites Selena Gomez and David Henrie as Alex and Justin Russo. Gomez will guest star in the premiere episode, while Henrie will appear in a leading series-regular role. The series follows an adult Justin Russo, who has chosen to lead a normal, mortal life with his family, Giada, Roman and Milo. When Justin’s sister Alex brings Billie to his home seeking help, Justin realizes he must dust off his magical skills to mentor the wizard-in-training while also juggling his everyday responsibilities – and safeguarding the future of the Wizard World.

The new season of Be My Guest with Ina Garten premieres April 21 on Food Network. Ina Garten, the Barefoot Contessa, welcomes a brand-new roster of friends old and new to her East Hampton home for good food, great conversation and lots of fun. The six episode season kicks off with a visit from award-winning actress, entrepreneur, philanthropist and brilliant home cook Jennifer Garner, followed by fascinating get-togethers with world-renowned astronaut Nicole Mann; pioneering restaurateur and author Danny Meyer; prolific writer, journalist and professor Frank Bruni; British actress-screenwriter-director Emily Mortimer and acclaimed New Yorker editor David Remnick.

Eric premieres on Netflix May 30. Starring Benedict Cumberbatch and set in 1980s New York, the series is a new emotional thriller from Abi Morgan following the desperate search of a father when his nine-year-old son disappears one morning on the way to school. Vincent, one of New York’s leading puppeteers and creator of the hugely popular children’s television show, ‘Good Day Sunshine,’ struggles to cope with the loss of his son, Edgar, becoming increasingly distressed and volatile. Full of self-loathing and guilt around Edgar’s disappearance, he clings to his son’s drawings of a blue monster puppet, ERIC, convinced that if he can get ERIC on TV then Edgar will come home. As Vincent’s progressively destructive behavior alienates his family, his work colleagues, and the detectives trying to help him, it’s Eric, a delusion of necessity, who becomes his only ally in the pursuit to bring his son home.

Douglas Smith will play Jimmy Olsen in the upcoming fourth and final season of Superman & Lois. The season will premiere this fall on The CW.

Adeel Akhtar, Finn Bennett, Luther Ford and Tracey Ullman have been cast in Netflix’s upcoming spy thriller Black Doves. They join previously announced Keira Knightley, Ben Whishaw and Sarah Lancashire. The series follows Helen Webb, a quick-witted, down to earth, dedicated wife and mother – and professional spy. For 10 years, she’s been passing on her politician husband’s secrets to the shadowy organisation she works for: the Black Doves. When her secret lover Jason is assassinated, her spymaster, the enigmatic Reed calls in Helen’s old friend to keep her safe.

The three part The Real Housewives of Potomac reunion will premiere March 31 on Bravo. Host Andy Cohen is joined on the couch by Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, Candiace Dillard Bassett, Robyn Dixon, Karen Huger, Dr. Wendy Osefo, Mia Thornton and new housewife Nneka Ihim to reflect on a rollercoaster season filled with the trials and tribulations of friendship.

The final season of anime series Beastars will premiere in two parts. Part one will premiere in 2024. In a world where beasts of all kinds coexist, a gentle wolf awakens to his own predatory urges as his school deals with a murder within its midst. The story of Legoshi, Louis, and Haru continues in the long-awaited final season.

Karen Pittman will not be returning for the upcoming third season of And Just Like That… Pittman played Nya Wallace in the first two seasons of the Sex and the City followup series. Filming conflicts with other projects she is a part of led to her departure.

Nickelodeon has canceled Erin & Aaron after one season. When Erin’s Dad marries Aaron’s Mom, everyone’s world is turned upside down. At first glance, it seems like the only thing these stepsiblings have in common is a similar sounding name! Erin has a wild streak — she’s funny, sensitive, and unafraid to speak her mind, although most of the time she’ll sing it (loudly!) Aaron on the other hand is extremely organized, super-hardworking, and absolutely certain that he’s destined to be a pop star. While they may not see eye-to-eye all the time, this unlikely duo is learning to lean on each other and their shared love of music as they navigate the challenges of becoming a new blended family, with lots and lots of hijinks along the way!

The special will be anchored by David Muir and Linsey Davis, who will be reporting live from Burlington, Vermont.

Baby Reindeer premieres April 11 on Netflix. When a struggling comedian shows one act of kindness to a vulnerable woman, it sparks a suffocating obsession which threatens to wreck both their lives.
