Season two of The Ark premieres July 17 on Syfy. The series takes place 100 years in the future when planetary colonization missions have begun as a necessity to help secure the survival of the human race. In season two, after the brave crew of Ark One reaches their destination and finds it uninhabitable, they must survive long enough to locate a new home for themselves and all the ships that follow. The series stars Christie Burke, Richard Fleeshman, Reece Ritchie, Stacey Read and Ryan Adams.

America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders premieres June 20 on Netflix. This series follows the 2023-24 Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders squad from start to finish – kicking off at auditions and training camp and continuing all the way through the NFL season. The seven-episode series will give viewers unfiltered access into this iconic team and franchise. Led by longtime director Kelli Finglass, the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders open their doors to document the personal stories behind the uniforms – revealing the drive, hustle, and drama among the cheerleaders and coaches. For many, it’s a dream to make the team – but that’s only just the beginning. 

The two part Summer House reunion begins June 6 on Bravo. Host Andy Cohen joins Amanda Batula, Kyle Cooke, Paige DeSorbo, Lindsay Hubbard, Ciara Miller, Danielle Olivera, Gabby Prescod, Carl Radke, Jesse Solomon and West Wilson as they revisit a season of blossoming friendships and heartbreaking relationships. As the reunion kicks off, Ciara and West reveal what happened between them after the cameras went down. Paige makes a shocking revelation about her friendship with Lindsay. The dramatic reunion concludes June 13 as West and Ciara consider their future. Amanda makes an emotional revelation about her health. Lindsay and Carl go head-to-head about the details of their breakup. 

Hierarchy premieres June 7 on Netflix. The top 0.01% of students control law and order at Jooshin High School, but a secretive transfer student chips a crack in their indomitable world.

Season two of Savage Beauty premieres June 28 on Netflix. With the face of Bhengu Beauty on the run, the family wrestles over control of their empire as they each fight for their own future.

Rome Flynn has joined the cast of MGM+’s Godfather of Harlem. Flynn will be a recurring guest star in the upcoming fourth season. He will portray Frank Lucas, a country boy from North Carolina who ventured to Harlem and, after initial friction with gangster Bumpy Johnson, eventually rose to become Bumpy’s fierce defender and right-hand man. In Season 4, Bumpy Johnson continues his bloody war for control of Harlem against New York’s Mafia families, while contending with the emergence of a potential rival in newly arrived Black gangster Frank Lucas. After Malcolm X’s tragic death, Bumpy must also grapple with his daughter Elise’s involvement with the Black Panthers. 

City of God: The Fight Rages On will premiere on HBO and Max this August. This new six-episode Brazilian production takes place two decades after the events of the highly acclaimed film “City of God.” It is an adapted continuation of the literary work by Paulo Lins, and will follow the story of its characters, starting with the work of the photographer Buscapé. Set in the early 2000s, the series includes excerpts from the film as flashbacks to reconstruct the protagonists’ memories. It features many returning cast members who played renowned characters in the original film.

Kitchen Glow Up, hosted by professional designer, cook, and founder & chief brand officer of Hedley & Bennett, Ellen Marie Bennett, premieres May 28 on Tastemade. Throughout the eight-episode series, Bennett will emphasize function to help homeowners reimagine their kitchens and ultimately transform them into beautifully designed spaces fit for a chef. With functionality at its core, each episode introduces viewers to a homeowner facing a unique challenge with their kitchen, from needing to effectively feed a growing family to cleaning out an overflowing, cluttered space. Bennett uses her expert kitchen skills to assess how the homeowners currently work in their space and begins her impeccable transformation, all while prioritizing the emotional connections homeowners have to their kitchens, leading to a must-see final reveal in every episode. Bennett also offers unique tips along the way for viewers to give their own kitchens a glow-up without breaking the bank, allowing the essence of the show to transcend beyond the screen.
