Netflix has renewed Haunted Hotel for a second season. A single mother of two struggles to run a haunted hotel with the help of her estranged brother, who is now one of the ghosts haunting the hotel and thinks the other ghosts have some pretty good ideas. The voice cast includes Will Forte, Eliza Coupe, Skyler Gisondo, Natalie Palamides and Jimmi Simpson. 

Allison Janney and Bradley Whitford have been promoted to series regulars for the upcoming fourth season of The Diplomat. Janney recurred in season two and the yet to premiere third season, while Whitford recurred in the third season of the Netflix series as well. Season three premieres October 16. 

Luke Wilson has been cast in Netflix’s upcoming Will Ferrell golf comedy series. Wilson joins Molly Shannon, Jimmy Tatro, Fortune Feimster, Chris Parnell, Katelyn Tarver and David Hornsby.

The third and final cour of the fourth and final season of Dr. Stone: Science Future will air in 2026. The second cour of the series which streams on Crunchyroll wrapped up this week. 

The Rising of the Shield Hero will return for a fifth season. Iwatani Naofumi, a run-of-the-mill otaku, finds a book in the library that summons him to another world. He is tasked with joining the sword, spear, and bow as one of the Four Cardinal Heroes and fighting the Waves of Catastrophe as the Shield Hero. Excited by the prospect of a grand adventure, Naofumi sets off with his party. However, merely a few days later, he is betrayed and loses all his money, dignity, and respect. Unable to trust anyone anymore, he employs a slave named Raphtalia and takes on the Waves and the world. But will he really find a way to overturn this desperate situation?

Re:Monster has been renewed for a second season. After meeting an untimely death, Tomokui Kanata is reincarnated as a lowly goblin, but he’s worked up a monstrous appetite. Thanks to his new ability that allows him to grow stronger the more he feeds, his feeble status quickly changes, and he rises to become the goblin leader. With a mix of his past memories, new body, and strong stomach, he’s taking a bite out of this new fantastical world!

Docuseries Quiet in Class will premiere on HBO Max September 29. More than 150 schoolchildren were abused by their own youth leader. The pedophile scandal at the Internationella Engelska Skolan (International English School) in Karlstad is the largest of its kind in Sweden to date and shocked the entire country when it came to light. Christmas comedy series Sicilia Express premieres December 5 on Netflix. The series follows the story of Salvo and Valentino, two Sicilian nurses who split their lives between work in Milan and their families in Sicily. Just a few days before Christmas, they stumble upon a magical portal, an unexpected discovery destined to turn their lives upside down… though not necessarily for the better.

This year, the 2025 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour Presented by Capital One will stop in Dallas/Fort Worth; Los Angeles; Chicago; Detroit; New York; Boston; Philadelphia; Washington, D.C.; Atlanta; and Miami. iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour stops will be part of the exclusive network special on ABC, airing in December and next day on Hulu.
