The Hawk will premiere this summer on Netflix. Lonnie Hawkins, (Will Ferrell) 2004’s number one golfer, struggles on the back nine of his career to recapture his magic. His body says retire, but his heart says he’s not done yet. His ex-wife and his son Lance, golf’s new golden boy, know he’s through. But with one more major to win to complete golf’s Grand Slam, Lonnie refuses to believe he’s anything other than one stroke away from the greatest comeback in golf history. The ten episode season cast includes Will Ferrell, Molly Shannon, Jimmy Tatro, Fortune Feimster, Luke Wilson, Chris Parnell, Katelyn Tarver, David Hornsby. 

Harry Styles will host Saturday Night Live March 14 on NBC. Styles will also serve as musical guest on the late night NBC series, pulling double duty. 

Love Overboard premieres March 26 on hulu with all nine episodes. A special preview of the premiere episode will air March 22 on ABC following the premiere of The Bachelorette. Step aboard the ultimate luxury yacht, where sexy singles are ready to mix and mingle … and find love. But there’s a twist … gaining access to the yacht’s extravagant amenities won’t be so simple. As the journey unfolds, romance ignites; alliances form; and hearts are shattered. In the end, only one couple will reign supreme. Who will rise to the top, and who will be left stranded. Gabby Windey hosts the series.

Tommy Lee Jones has joined the cast of FX’s The Lowdown for the upcoming second season. Jones joins series star Ethan Hawke and previously announced Betty Gilpin in the next season, which begins production this spring in Tulsa. The series follows the gritty exploits of citizen journalist Lee Raybon (Hawke), a self-proclaimed Tulsa “truthstorian” whose obsession with the truth is always getting him into trouble. While Lee’s no idealist, he’s fiercely committed to exposing corruption and unearthing the city’s hidden rot, even when it puts him at risk. 

Season nine of Rick and Morty premieres May 24 on adult swim. Rick and Morty is back, baby! Season Nine is all certified bangers. No AI slop! Season Nine will be available to stream in the U.S. beginning August 31. 

Shay Mitchell is the latest cast announcement for the upcoming Baywatch sequel series. Mitchell joins Stephen Amell, Jessica Belkin, Hassie Harrison, Thaddeus LaGrone, Brooks Nader, Noah Beck and David Chokachi. 

Nikki Glaser will return to host the 84th Annual Golden Globes January 10, 2027 on CBS. Following her widely-praised turn as host in 2025 and 2026, Glaser, who made history as the first woman to host the Golden Globes solo, is set to bring her sharp wit, fearless humor, and unmistakable voice back to entertainment’s most celebrated night for a third year. Known for her bold comedic style, quick improvisation, and signature roasts, Glaser has consistently captivated audiences with her daring opening monologues.

Rose Byrne, Nicole Kidman, Jimmy Kimmel, Delroy Lindo, Ewan McGregor, Wagner Moura, Pedro Pascal, Bill Pullman, Lewis Pullman, Channing Tatum and Sigourney Weaver will present at the 98th Oscars. Hosted by Conan O’Brien, The Oscars will air live on ABC from the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood and stream live on Hulu on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at 7 p.m. EDT/4 p.m. PDT, with the official live red-carpet show airing at 6:30 p.m. EDT/3:30 p.m. PDT. Previously announced Oscars presenters include Will Arnett, Adrien Brody, Javier Bardem, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Kieran Culkin, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Anne Hathaway, Chase Infiniti, Mikey Madison, Paul Mescal, Demi Moore, Kumail Nanjiani, Gwyneth Paltrow, Maya Rudolph and Zoe Saldaña. 

Matt Vasgersian, a veteran Major League Baseball play-by-play voice and host, is joining NBC Sports to handle play-by-play for many of the MLB Sunday Leadoff games on Peacock and NBCSN. Vasgersian, who spent the last five years as a Los Angeles Angels TV play-by-play voice, will continue his role at MLB Network, a position he has held since its inception in 2009. He makes his NBC Sports’ season debut on Thursday, March 26 on MLB’s Opening Day presented by Adobe. He will be in the booth that day at Citi Field as 2025 NL Cy Young winner Paul Skenes and the Pittsburgh Pirates visit Juan Soto and the New York Mets at 1 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock. Peacock’s MLB Sunday Leadoff schedule begins on May 3 as the American League champion Toronto Blue Jays visit the Minnesota Twins at 12:30 p.m. ET. 

Friday Night Baseball returns for its fifth season on Apple TV March 27. Highlights include the storied New York Subway Series matchup between the Yankees and Mets, plus multiple appearances by reigning National League MVP Shohei Ohtani and the defending World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers, including a classic matchup against the Cubs at Dodger Stadium, a showdown with the Philadelphia Phillies, and a heated NL West rivalry game against the San Diego Padres. For the fourth straight season, games will be called by broadcast teams Wayne Randazzo (play-by-play), Dontrelle Willis (analyst), and Heidi Watney (sideline reporter); and Alex Faust (play-by-play), Ryan Spilborghs (analyst), and Tricia Whitaker (sideline reporter) with Rich Waltz, who will join the broadcast team to call select games during the season.
