Peacock has renewed The ‘Burbs for a second season. Inspired by the 1989 horror-comedy film of the same name and set in present-day suburbia, the series follows a young couple who have reluctantly relocated to the husband’s childhood home. Their world is upended when a new neighbor moves in across the street, bringing old secrets of the cul-de-sac to light and new deadly threats shatter the illusion of their quiet little neighborhood.

Everyone Is Doing Great season two will premiere on Netflix May 11. The season will launch alongside the first season, which originally streamed on hulu. Home Town: Inn This Together premieres May 10 on HGTV. Ben and Erin Napier will lend a helping hand in Laurel, Mississippi’s biggest renovation project yet in the new spinoff series. The Napiers, who have successfully revived many outdated homes and historical locations in their small town will lean in to help their family and best friends Jim and Mallorie Rasberry and Josh Nowell who plan to restore the dilapidated 1930 Kress building in downtown Laurel. The enterprising trio believes the 25,000-square-foot space that’s been vacant for 40 years will be the perfect setting for a hotel, food venue and storefront, but they’ll face an array of challenges on the way to make their dream a reality, including: crumbling walls, flooded floors, seven figure budget dilemmas and a devastating fire that severely damages the hotel post renovation.

Agnes O’Casey joins as Liz Gold with Felix Kammerer as Hans-Dieter Mundt; Volker Bruch, Saskia Rosendahl, Patrick Güldenberg, Safia Oakley-Green, Jake Dunn and Ariyon Bakare join the ensemble cast with Dan Stevens taking on the iconic role of Bill Haydon.
Cunk On Cinema is coming soon to Netflix. The faux documentary series will examine the world’s love affair with movies. Production started on the three-part series this week and along the way, Philomena (Diane Morgan) will be asking experts all of the hard-hitting questions about the history of cinema, from the invention of the camera, to the New Wave filmmakers of the 60s, right up to entrance of CGI and what the future of AI holds. Cunk will attempt to demystify it all while sitting in lumpy seats with stale popcorn, asking herself where did cinema come from? And why? What does it want? And why can’t it tell us?
