Prime Video has reversed course on two series which had been renewed for second seasons. The streamer will no longer be moving forward on sci fi series The Peripheral or baseball series A League of Their Own, which was to end with its four episode season. The ongoing strikes are reportedly to blame for the cancellations as they would not be able to film and be released until 2025 allegedly. Sony plans to shop the second season of A League of Their Own as all four episodes have been written prior to the writers strike.
