Apple TV has renewed Slow Horses for an eighth season. The renewal comes ahead of the season six premiere September 16. The eighth season will adapt the ninth novel in Mick Herron’s “Slough House” book series and sees Jackson Lamb and Diana Taverner face off in their most explosive confrontation yet. When a botched attempt to blackmail the Park puts Taverner on the offensive, it is up to Lamb to unravel one of MI5’s darkest secrets and put an end to it once and for all.
The Murder of JonBenet Ramsey will premiere on Netflix December 10. Melissa McCarthy and Clive Owen star as Patsy and John Bennett Ramsey. The series centers on one of the most infamous unsolved murder cases in American history, and the devastating personal and public reckoning that followed the death of JonBenet Ramsey on Christmas night in 1996.
HBO’s Harry Potter has added more cast. Rafe Spall will play Arthur Weasley, Molly Hewitt-Richards will portray Moaning Myrtle, and Jasper Ambrose will play Colin Creevey. Each will make their debut in the currently filming second season.
FX’s The Shards will release an original soundtrack on Interscope Records on October 16. The 16-track collection features original songs from Troye Sivan, series star Hayes Warner and acclaimed producer Leland, alongside original score by Morgan Kibby & David Klotz. The soundtrack includes music heard throughout the series, with all nine episodes of the series now streaming on Hulu.

Setting the Tempo, a new four-part ESPN Original Series chronicling the creation and launch of the Toronto Tempo, will premiere September 20, with all episodes available to stream on the ESPN App and Disney+. The series will make its linear debut that evening at 8:30 p.m. ET on ESPN, with all four episodes airing consecutively. It takes audiences inside the exhilarating, high-stakes process of building a WNBA franchise from the ground up.
