The CW announced today that it would not be ordering the back-nine episodes of “Emily Owens, M.D.”

Unfortunately, the medical drama starring Mamie Gummer, Justin Hartley and Michael Rady never managed to find ratings success in its very competitive Tuesday night time period. The network will air the 13-episodes from the original order. The mid-series finale airs next week and the remaining six episodes will play out beginning in January after the holiday hiatus.

The CW previously gave full season orders to its other freshmen dramas, “Arrow” and “Beauty and the Beast.”
