Lifetime Renews 'The Client List'

0

If, like me, you’re fan of Jennifer Love Hewitt’s ‘The Client List,’ you can rest easy now that Lifetime has picked up her new show for a second season.

The Client List centers on Hewitt’s character, Riley, who struggles to hold her family together financially and emotionally after her husband left them. She turns to work at a massage parlor that specializes in happy endings. Cybil Shepherd plays her mother and the oh-so-gorgeous Colin Egglesfield (ex-Josh, All My Children; Auggie, Melrose Place) plays her brother-in-law, Evan. Not only does a pick-up mean another season of the happenings at the sexy, scandalous spa and massage parlor, but it means viewers get more of Riley and Evan, who have been sizzling since the first episode.

The network is upping the episodes from ten to fifteen in the second season as well. The pickup comes as no surprised since The Client List garnered the highest premiere ratings for a debut series since the network’s other highly popular show Drop Dead Diva premiered in 2009. In a statement from Nancy Dubuc, president and general manager of Lifetime Networks, she stated, “The Client List represents everything we want to be: fresh, exciting, and original with attitude.”

That sounds like everything TV viewers want as well, so we’ll look forward to seeing The Client List next season.
