‘Hart of Dixie’ Preview: Bluebell is infected with Lovesick Blues

Last week on Hart of Dixie, the residents of Bluebell dealt with people meddling in their romantic relationships. This week the town faces an even bigger crisis as a flu epidemic hits and the town goes on lockdown.

In “Lovesick Blues,” Zoe (Rachel Bilson) gets a warning from the Health Department that a flu outbreak is headed their way so Lavon (Cress Williams) puts everyone on quarantine to try and stop the spread of the virus. But like everything in Bluebell, keeping people healthy is easier said than done.

Wade (Wilson Bethel) is forced to stay with an ex-girlfriend, which makes Zoe jealous. Lemon (Jaime King) is desperate for a romantic night with Walt (guest star Rich McDonald) so she tries to ignore her symptoms. George (Scott Porter) reluctantly agrees to help Lavon make a commercial about Bluebell’s small town charm, but the mayor is much more interested in his costar than promoting tourism.

Hart of Dixie airs Tuesday, Jan. 29 at 8 p.m. on The CW.
