ABC’s Dirty Sexy Money will be back this fall full of changes. Samaire Armstrong (The O.C., CSI: Miami) who plays Juliet Darling has left the show. Her departure is storyline dictated and we could see her free loving character again. Lucy Liu (Cashmere Mafia, Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle) has also joined the show. Soap lovers will be happy to see Scott Holroyd (NCIS, Scrubs, CSI: Miami), best known for playing Paul Ryan on As the World Turns from 2001-2003, has also been cast on the cult favorite.
‘Dirty Sexy’ Changes On The Way

ABC’s Dirty Sexy Money will be back this fall full of changes. Samaire Armstrong (The O.C., CSI: Miami) who plays Juliet Darling has left the show. Her departure is storyline dictated and we could see her free loving character again. Lucy Liu (Cashmere Mafia, Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle) has also joined the show. Soap lovers will be happy to see Scott Holroyd (NCIS, Scrubs, CSI: Miami), best known for playing Paul Ryan on As the World Turns from 2001-2003, has also been cast on the cult favorite.
After Cashmere Mafia was officially canceled, Liu made the move over to Dirty Sexy Money. Reportedly Liu will be playing a lawyer named Nola Lyons. No word yet on Liu’s storyline, but we are sure that her character is bound to stir up some trouble with the Darling Family. Liu also enjoyed a multi-episode arc on Ugly Betty.
Holyrod will be playing the brother of Ellen Darling (Kiersten Warren), who is married to Senator Patrick Darling (William Baldwin.) The Senator has been having an ongoing affair with a transsexual named Carmelita (played by real live transsexual Candis Cayne). In the last episode of the first season, Carmelita is missing in action. Holyrod’s character does not like the revelations of his brother in law sexual encounters. Even though Ellen was ok with the situation, Holyrod’s character (who at press time has no name) clearly does not. Sources say this could be a big storyline for the dysfunctional Darling family. Dirty Sexy Money also stars Donald Sutherland, William Baldwin, Peter Krause, Jill Clayburgh, and Natalie Zea. The second season will premiere October 1, 2008 at 10pm on ABC.
