This fundraiser will kick off the AIDS Los Angeles weekend and the proceeds will go to the APLA (AIDS Project Los Angeles). This event promises to be a very fun time while raising money for a very worthy cause, the fight against HIV and AIDS.

On Thursday October 16th, Cops 4 Causes, Poz Magazine and Michaelfairmansoaps.com will present the first annual "Soaps in the City" celebrity fundraiser in Los Angeles, CA. This fundraiser will kick off the AIDS Los Angeles weekend and the proceeds will go to the APLA (AIDS Project Los Angeles). This event promises to be a very fun time while raising money for a very worthy cause, the fight against HIV and AIDS.
Several daytime stars from your favorite soaps are scheduled to attend this red carpet event. With former Days of Our Lives star Patrika Darbo as the emcee, you know it will be a fun time. One Life to Live’s Ilene Kristen will be one of the guests who will put on a musical performance. There will be cocktails, special performances, music by DJ ORA and a very special "Soap Family Feud". From the Young and the Restless, Christian LeBlanc (Michael Baldwin), Kristoff St. John (Neil Winters) Daniel Goddard (Adam Newman), Judith Chapman (Gloria Abbott) and Kate Linder (Esther) as well as the Bold and the Beautiful’s Heather Tom (Katie Logan) are scheduled to appear.
Also scheduled to appear are General Hospital’s Kimberly McCullough (Robin Scorpio), Megan Ward (Kate Howard), and Carolyn Hennessy (Diane Miller). Two other Port Charles residents, General Hospital:Night Shifts Adam Grimes (Kyle Julian) and Chad Allen (Eric Whitlow) will also be there. These Days of Our Lives stars, James Scott (EJ DiMera), Nadia Bjorlin (Chloe Black), Shelley Hennig (Stephanie Johnson) and Martha Madison (ex Belle Brady) will also attend. Here! Networks and POZ May cover feature Sherri Lewis, The Lair’s, David Moretti and Sordid Lives’ Ted Detwiler and Ann Walker will also be in attendance.
