Alison Sweeney Delivers Baby Girl

Days of Our Lives star Alison Sweeney delivers a healthy baby girl.

Days of Our Lives star Alison Sweeney, 31, and her husband David Sanov are proud parents of a happy and healthy baby girl, Megan Hope Sanov. Ali delivered her newest addition on Monday, January 12 at 11:48pm in a Los Angeles hospital. The baby girl came into the world weighing 6lbs 7oz. Megan is a welcomed addition to the family and joins her older brother Ben who will turn 4 years old in February.

Alison announced she was pregnant in June 2008 to her castmates of Days of Our Lives. The daytime soap accommodated her real life pregnancy and wrote it into her character’s storyline. Alison’s character, Sami Brady is also about to give birth to a child fathered by her estranged husband E.J. Dimera (played by James Scott). Sami will give up her child, but the story will take an interesting twist when down the line she may realize her child is a lot closer than she thinks.
