Lesli Kay is set to return to ‘As The World Turns’ as Molly Conlan McKinnon this fall — but will also remain on ‘The Bold & the Beautiful’ as Felicia!
New York based As The World Turns will welcome back Emmy award winning actress Lesli Kay (Felicia, B&B) this fall. According to reports from Soap Opera Digest, the actress will commute from Los Angeles to New York and back, appearing on simultaneously on The Bold & the Beautiful and As The World Turns soaps.
Lesli joined the cast of As The World Turns as Molly Conlan from 1997. Her work on the soap earned her a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in 2001. After departing World Turns in 2004, Kay stepped into the role of Lois Cerullo on ABC’s General Hospital. In 2005, the actress chose to leave GH and assumed the role of Felicia Forrester (previously played by Colleen Dion) on The Bold and the Beautiful. Original plans called for the character to be killed off after a battle with cancer, but Kay’s commanding portrayal caused head writer Brad Bell to rewrite the storyline and keep her on! In 2007, the actress was nominated yet again for Supporting Actress but lost out to Genie Francis (Laura, GH).
In 2008, she crossed over to B&B’s sister soap, The Young and the Restless for several episodes as Felicia. The actress has also appeared on several prime time series including Law & Order, CSI:NY and most recently Ghost Whisperer. In 2007, Kay and husband, actor/director/screenwriter Keith Coulouris completed a movie Shadow People, which won “Best Digitial Feature” at the 2007 Napa/Sonoma Wine Country Film Festival.
