After the last musical put on by ABC’s One Life to Live one would think they wouldn’t try to do this again, but I guess they didn’t learn their lesson. The soap’s viewers can prepare for another musical to happen on the daytime soap this Spring, called Starr X’d Lovers. As you may have guessed by the title of the production, it has everything to do with the young teen relationship of Starr Manning (Kristen Alderson) and Cole Thornhart (Brandon Buddy).
According to the recent issue of Soap Opera Weekly, sources are mum about the details regarding the Spring production, but as many know, there are several actors on the roster who have the pipes to possibly make an appearance. With Kassie DePaiva (Blair), Scott Evans (Oliver), Tika Sumpter (Layla), Bree Williamson (Jessica), Scott Clifton (Schuyler), Mark Lawson (Brody), Jason Tam (Markko), Britney Underwood (Langston) and Kristen Alderson (Starr), there are bound to be a few of them to step up and put their pipes on display for the musical filled episodes.
As many remember in June 2007, OLTL introduced Prom Night: The Musical which included Kristen Alderson (Starr), Jason Tam (Markko), Britney Underwood (Langston) and Kathy Brier (Ex-Marcie). Music from this musical production was made available to fans via iTunes or at the ABC website.
