The coming and goings report for daytime — May 10th Edition.
The revolving door of Daytime is forever swinging and in the most recent weeks has been no exception. Newcomers, welcomed returns, controversial exits and cameo appearances grace the daytime screen in the coming months. How will these comings and goings effect your favorite show? You will have to tune in to find out!
ALL MY CHILDREN
Coming to Pine Valley
Michael Nouri joins the cast of AMC as Caleb McGraw, the new love interest for Erica Kane (Susan Lucci). McGraw is the head of a new family that will be introduced through his character. Nouri has recently starred in the FX series Damages.
AS THE WORLD TURNS
Coming to Oakdale
Mary Beth Evans will be returning to Oakdale as Sierra Montgomery. Last seen in 2004, she will return for a handful of episodes. “A few days after wrapping DAYS, I got a call to NY return for a handful of episodes of ATWT,” Evans reported in her blog at Hybrid Mom.
CBS Soaps In Depth reports Sierra won’t be alone either. A spokesperson confirmed to SID that Sierra and Craig’s (Jon Lindstom) daughter Lucy will return as well. The question remains…who will play the character?
Peyton List, who portrayed the role from 2001-2005 is arguably the most popular Lucy. List can currently be seen on ABC’s FlashForward. Spencer Grammer, daughter of television star Kelsey Grammer, took over the role in 2006 and left the same year. The actress currently stars on the hit ABC Family dramedy Greek. Sarah Glendering played the role last from 2008-2009. If we had our pick, we’d bring back Peyton List.
Billy Warlock has joined the cast as a yet to be named character. The actor joins his real-life Julie Pinson, who plays Janet Ciccone Snyder. He’s scheduled to air sometime in July.
Terri Garber is set to reprise her role as con artst Iris later this year. Garber returned to the set of World Turns last month to begin filming.
Also returning to the show is Jesse Soffer and Emmy winner Jennifer Landon as Will & Gwen Munson. Will Iris and her daughter Gwen cross paths? We’ll see. No first airdate has been given.
CBS Soaps In Depth is also reporting that Kristina Sisco Romero will reprise her role as Abigail Williams, daughter of Holden Snyder (Jon Hensley) & Molly Conlan (Lesli Kay) for a couple of episodes this summer! Leaving Oakdale
Marie Wilson (Meg) taped her last scenes on April 9. Reports indicate the actress will still be seen on air for months to come.

Patrick Duffy returns as Stephen Logan on May 12.
Daddy Yankee, the Grammy award winning artist will appear as himself on June 1.
DAYS OF OUR LIVES
Coming to Salem
Jamie Lyn Bauer will return to Salem as Laura Horton on June 14. She was last seen in Salem in 2003.
Mary Beth Evans will reprise her role as Kayla Brady Johnson on June 17th.
John Martin has joined the cast as Bill Horton. Martin best known for his role of Fredrick on CBS’ The Young and the Restless from 2002-2005. He also appeared on Sunset Beach as Hank from 1997-1999. Martin joins a list of veterans who are returning to pay respect to their long time friend and colleague Frances Reid who past away a few months ago.

Leaving Salem
Arlene Sorkin will be exiting her role of Calliope Jones Bradford as she parts ways with Anna Dimera (Leann Hunley) on May 14th.
Taylor Spreitler (Mia) has been let go. Spreitler joined the cast of DAYS in 2009 and will last air on June 22. The actress taped her final episode on April 20. "I have enjoyed playing such a fun and ever-changing character on daytime television, and it has been an incredibly gratifying experience both professionally and personally," said the actress in a statement. "My heart will always be in salem. I wanted to say thank you to all my fans for their support."
GENERAL HOSPITAL
Coming to Port Charles
William C. Mitchell will taken on the role of Warden Powell. He previously appeared on Desperate Housewives as Judge Crenshaw. He appears on May 24th.
Former American Gladiator Lee Reherman joins the cast as Frank, the head prison guard at Pentonville Prison. He begins airing on May 14th and the role is recurring. Look for Frank to become heavily involved in the storyline involving Michael (Chad Duell) and Jason (Steve Burton).
ONE LIFE TO LIVE
Coming to Llanview
The beautiful and talented Jessica Leccia has joined the cast in the recurring role of Inez, the mother of LLanview high hunk Nate (Lenny Platt). The actress’ first airdate is June 18. Leccia is best known for her run on Guiding Light as Natalia Rivera.
THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS
Coming to Genoa City
Andrea Evans returns as Tawny Moore, Amber’s (Adrienne Frantz) trailer trash mother. Andrea has previously portrayed Patty Williams on the CBS soap from 1983 to 1984. She has also portrayed Tina Lord on ABC’s One Life to Live and Rebecca on NBC’s Passions. She begins airing as Amber’s mother on May 14th.
Television and film star Sean Young will join the cast as Meggie, a barmaid who crosses paths with Victor (Eric Braeden) in Genoa City. The actress first airs in June.
Emmy winner Jeff Branson (ex-Shayne, GL; ex-Jonathan, AMC) has been cast in a contract role as a yet to be named character. Branson joins his former All My Children co-stars Eden Riegel (Heather; ex-Bianca, AMC), Elizabeth Henrickson (Chloe; ex-Frankie/Maggie, AMC), as well as former Guiding Light co-stars John Driscoll (Chance; ex-Coop, GL) and Marcy Rylan (Abby; ex-Lizzie, GL).
