Days of our Lives Pairs Up with The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences for a Special Anniversary Night!

This November, NBC’s Days of Our Lives will celebrate 45 years on air. In celebration for this historical milestone, The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and Days of Our Lives will host “Celebrating 45 Years of Days of Our Lives” at the Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre on Tuesday, September 28.

Jon Jordon, of Detroit’s Local 4 WDIV-TV NBC Affiliate will moderate the event’s six panels featuring talent, producers and executives who have been a part of Days of Our Lives for the past forty-five years. Topics for the panel include character discussions, growing up in Salem and on set, and the business aspect of the show.

Also making its debut are behind the scenes photos from DAYS’ new archive book Days of Our Lives: 45 Years A Celebration In Photos. The book and photos will be exhibited in the main lobby of the Leonard H. Goldenson Theater as guests enter for the evening. The book will be available in November, followed shortly by DAYS’ new fiction series, Salem’s Secrets, Scandals and Lies.

Though the panel itself is not open to the public (only ATAS members are allowed inside), fans will have the opportunity to watch the celebration, thanks to the wonderful folks at the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, who will stream the panel on their website, http://www.emmys.com. If you’re in the North Hollywood area and want a chance to see some of the stars, be sure to get there early! The first 200 fans to arrive will get to come close to the red carpet, the first 100 fans will get a goodie bag and one lucky fan will be picked to go inside! Arrivals begin at 5:30PM!
