Blue Bloods Scores with New Timeslot

Last night’s new episode of Blue Bloods drew its best ratings in adults 25-54, best delivery in adults 18-49 since October 2, 2010 and highest audience since its September 24, 2010 premiere. Blue Bloods won its Wednesday (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) time slot in households (7.6/13), viewers (12.18m), adults 25-54 (3.1/08) and averaged a 2.0/06 in adults 18-49.

A few weeks ago CBS announced it was moving its #2 primetime drama from its 10PM Friday night time slot to Wednesdays at 10PM, while Criminal Minds would move to Friday’s at 10PM. CBS was also stressed the switcheroo was a temporary thing and would last for a four week trial period.

“Blue Fish” was the first of the four scheduled Blue Bloods episodes to air on Wednesday night. The series will return to its original time slot on Friday, February 11, 2011. Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior, the Criminal Minds spinoff starring Forrest Whitaker and Janeane Garofalo premieres Wednesday, February 16.
