GH's Annie Ilonzeh Cast In Reboot of 'Charlie's Angels'

GH Actress Cast In ‘Charlie’s Angels’ Reboot

Annie Ilonzeh (Maya, GH) has been named as the first cast member on the reboot of Charlie’s Angels. The new ABC series is the project of Sony Television and Flower Films.

Ilonzeh will portray Kate, a very smart and athletic former cop who also just happens to be a master of the martial arts.  Kate, along with two other beauties, are private investigators working for a mysterious millionaire named Charlie. Rumor has it Robert Wagner will be the voice of the millionaire boss. The new Angels will be set in Miami, Florida.

Ilonzeh has other primetime credits to her name, including a recurring role on HBO’s Entourage and an appearance on the CW’s Melrose Place. Since 2010, Ilonzeh has portrayed Maya Ward-Spencer, the great-granddaughter of corporate tycoon Edward Quartermaine, on ABC’s flagship soap, General Hospital.
