Will Hilarie Burton and Chad Murray Return For 'Tree Hill's' Final Season?

Will fans of One Tree Hill’s Peyton (Hilarie Burton) and Lucas (Chad Murray) get the chance to see their faves again? If new CW president Mark Pedowitz gets his way you will!

During a press conference following the networks upfront presentation, exiting President Dawn Ostroff told TVLine.com, “Mark Pedowitz is going to talk to them. I don’t think anything has been done yet, but now that everybody knows that this is the final 13 episodes…”

Pedowitz then finished her statement, “…that makes it more possible as far as cast members coming back.”

The CW recently announced One Tree Hill would return for its ninth and final season next spring.
