Debbi Morgan Joins 'The Young and the Restless'

0

All My Children veteran and Emmy winner Debbi Morgan will join The Young and the Restless when AMC wraps in September.

Deadline.com reported in April that Sony was interested in bringing over a number of actors from AMC and One Life to Life to The Young and the Restless and Days of Our Lives. Morgan was among the list of actors, which included fellow AMC co-star Jacbob Young and OLTL’s Gina Tognoni and Josh Kelly.

In an interview with TV Guide in June, Morgan downplayed rumors of her joining Y&R, but said, “If I was ever to do another soap, Y&R would probably be the only one.” With All My Children heading to the web after September, the absence of Angie Hubbard will be glaring. No one knows what cast, if any, will continue on with Prospect Park’s version of the series.
