ABC’s hit summer cop drama Rookie Blue has been renewed for a third season.

The series, which stars Missy Peregrym and Gregory Smith, follows the lives of five young officers as they balance their lives while trying to have a career. The series launched in 2010 as part of ABC’s refocused attempt to create successful summer series. Rookie Blue has topped the 18-49 demo for the last three weeks.

Rookie Blue airs Thursdays at 10PM on ABC.
