ABC's 'Pan Am' Recasts Lead Role with Mike Vogel

Mike Vogel (Blue Valentine) will take over the lead of ABC’s Pan Am.

ABC has chosen to recast its lead character Dean. Out is Generation Kill’s Jonah Lotan, who played the role in the pilot. Mike Vogel will replace him confirms The Hollywood Reporter. The series revolves around pilots and flight attendants for Pan Am Airlines. Vogel’s character is living his boyhood dream when he’s selected as captain for the company’s newest plane, the Majestic. Pan Am also stars Christina Ricci, Kelli Garner, Margot Robbie, Karine Vanasse and Michael Mosley.

His previous credits include Miami Medical, Grounded for Life, She’s Out of My League and Blue Valentine.
