Fan favorite Bryan Dattilo will return to Days of our Lives as Lucas Horton this February.
It’s official! After weeks of rumors, Days of our Lives fan favorite and veteran Bryan Dattilo (Lucas) is returning to the show. Soap Opera Digest reports exclusively the actor will be back on-screen “in late February, 2012.”
“We are very excited Bryan Dattilo, who has been greatly missed on the show, is back in Salem,” says Co-executive producer Greg Meng. “The reset of DAYS is about bringing core families back together, rekindling old romances and sparking new ones.”
The return of Lucas couldn’t come at a better time. His son Will is spiraling out of control while struggling to come to terms with his sexuality. Dattilo played Lucas from 1993-2001 and 2002-2010. Lucas left town after the collapse of his marriage to Chloe Lane. He returned briefly during the memorial for Lucas’ grandmother Alice Horton.
