Former All My Children star Darnell Williams (ex-Jesse, AMC) will join long-time leading leady Debbi Morgan (Harmony, Y&R) in Genoa City in the coming months.
Soap Opera Digest broke the news earlier today but information on the character he’ll be playing is scarce. Speculation suggests a possible on-screen reunion with Morgan. Williams’ move marks the fourth time he has worked with Morgan on a soap opera (All My Children, Loving and The City).
Williams joins a long line of former AMC stars who’ve found a home on Y&R in recent years. Current cast members include Morgan of course, Amelia Heinle (Victoria, Y&R; ex-Mia, AMC), Billy Miller (Billy, Y&R; ex-Ritchie, AMC), Elizabeth Hendrickson (Chloe, Y&R; ex-Maggie/Frankie, AMC), Jeff Branson (Ronan, Y&R; ex-Jonathan, AMC) and Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea, Y&R; ex-Annie, AMC).
