Sean Kanan Returns To 'The Bold and the Beautiful'

After a seven year absence, Sean Kanan returns to ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ as hell raiser Deacon Sharpe.

TV Guide broke the news this evening regarding the star’s return to the soap beginning May 24. The magazine reports that while the length of Kanan’s return is unknown, Deacon will form an alliance with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), who will use Deacon to break up his son Liam (Scott Clifton) and Deacon’s daughter Hope (Kim Matula).

The actor shared his happiness about returning on Twitter, “Well looks like the cat is out of the bag. After all these years I’m going back and couldn’t be happier. Thanks so much to you all.”

Kanan originated the role of con-man Deacon Sharpe in 2000. After departing the show in 2005, he would bring his character to B&B’s sister soap The Young and the Restless in 2009. There, Deacon continued his pattern of being up to no good. Deacon mixed it up with former flame and then-B&B transplant Amber (Adrienne Frantz), causing trouble during her relationship with Daniel; had a one night-stand with Victoria (Amelia Heinle), had a fling with Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), caused Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) to fall off the wagon and later conned her into marriage!

What you think of Deacon’s return?
