The Office may ending, but NBC is keeping producer, Justin Spitzer around!

The Office will end after this upcoming season, but NBC has already bought another comedy from Justin Spitzer, who has been with the popular comedy since its third season. His untitled comedy will be an ensemble comedy following a group of friends on their way to a destination wedding. They’ll go on a journey that changes the rest of their lives.

Spitzer will write and share executive producer credits with Peter Traugott and Rachel Kaplan. The show order comes a year after Spitzer signed an overall deal with NBC parent Universal Television, which will produce the project.

It was announced earlier this week that The Office’s upcoming ninth season would be its last.

The comedy order was first reported by The Hollywood Reporter
