'The Newsroom's' Kelen Coleman Heads South to 'Hart of Dixie'

Zoe and Wade shippers rejoice! The Newsroom’s Kelen Coleman has booked a recurring role on Hart of Dixie as a potential love interest for George.

TV Line was the first to report the news of Coleman’s new gig. According to TV Line, she will be playing Presley, a pretty, but tomboyish beer distributor, who catches George’s eye at the Rammer Jammer.

Fans will recall that George nixed his nuptials to Lemon in the Season 1 finale and then proceeded to kiss Zoe, who had just spent some quality naked time with Wade, creating quite a cliffhanger ending. Coleman is actually the second new lady in George’s life that has been announced for Season 2. Broadway’s Laura Bell Bundy was previously cast in the role of Shelby and she’ll be around for at least two episodes this fall.

Coleman, who played Maggie’s roommate and Jim’s girlfriend, Lisa, on the HBO series also had a recurring role on NBC’s The Office.

Hart of Dixie returns on Tues. Oct. 2 at 8 p.m. on the CW.
