'Emily Owens, M.D.' November Sweeps Preview

Have you fallen in love with The CW’s new drama “Emily Owens, M.D.” yet? If the answer is ‘no’ that means that you probably haven’t given it a chance. It is time to remedy that people and you can start by checking out what the show has in store for November sweeps.

[SPOILERS AHEAD]

In this Tuesday’s upcoming episode, “Emily and the Outbreak,” the surgical interns are given an impromptu medical quiz with a chance to assist in surgery as the prize. Emily (Mamie Gummer) and Cassandra (Aja Naomi King) are the only two left standing. Cassandra wins and Emily gets an unfortunate assignment of her own. She has to talk to the local high school girls about STDs.

November 6 is Election Day and once you return home from the polls, The CW is re-airing the
Pilot” episode. Seriously people, watch this show if you haven’t already. It has everything you could possibly want: drama, comedy, hilariously awkward situation, medical dramas, good-looking people…

The show returns with a new episode on Tuesday, Nov. 13. In “Emily and the Predator,” Emily and Micah (Michael Rady) are frantic when they discover their patient needs a kidney transplant immediately, but they are baffled when she mysteriously refuses to accept the kidney from her new husband.

On Tuesday, Nov. 20, “Emily and the Tell-Tale Heart” will air. In this episode, Emily and Will (Justin Hartley) discover that their teenage patient needs a partial liver transplant, but when neither parent is a match, a shocking secret is revealed.
