  1. For as many problems TV dramas tend to have, The Following
seems able to transcend all of them. “Welcome Home” was a perfect example of
that. After eight episodes the show is still able to keep me guessing and make
me jump, the characters are still able to surprise me with their heroism and
the depths of their villainy. Take Agent Weston catching a severe beating and
not giving Claire’s location up as an example of the former, and basically
anything Joe does or says or flashes back to as a prime example of the latter. I work at DISH and live-Tweeted the episode
with some of my friends and coworkers, and we all really enjoyed “Welcome Home”
immensely. I really enjoy live-tweeting the show with my friends, but tend to
miss a few things, so I re-watch the episode by myself the next day. Since “The
Following” airs during primetime on one of the four major networks, it was
recorded by my DISH Hopper, and I
was able to watch it this morning before I left for work.
