‘The Following’s’ Warren Kole nabs ‘White Collar’ guest spot

White Collar fans might have to wait longer than usual to see their favorite con artist back on the screen since season five will premiere this fall instead of over the summer. But a new casting announcement has shed a little light on what viewers can expect.

Warren Kole, who recently played a cult member disguised as a sheriff on The Following, has signed on for the recurring role of Agent David Seigel. Since Peter was arrested for murder in the season four finale, Agent Seigel will be stepping in as Neal’s new handler.

There’s no word on how many episodes Kole will appear in, but we’re guessing most fans will be hoping for a quick resolution to Peter’s predicament so he can get back to working with Neal sooner rather than later. We also have a feeling Neal won’t take well to having a new partner/boss.

In addition to his role on The Following, Kole has appeared in Common Law, The Chicago Code, Rizzoli & Isles, NCIS: Los Angeles and 24.

The Huffington Post was the first to report the casting announcement.

White Collar returns this fall on the USA Network.
