General Hospital Promo: A New Threat Comes to Port Charles

How do you fight an enemy you never saw coming? That’s the question ABC asks in the newest General Hospital promo.

The new General Hospital promo is centered on the arrival of Derek Wells (William deVry) to Port Charles and foreshadows the threat he’ll pose to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his family. Derek is the head of the parent company that now owns Crimson Magazine and the Port Charles Press. After putting the squeeze to Connie (Kelly Sullivan), he sets her on a mission to uncover a huge story or face the end of her career.

As we exclusively reported earlier this month, there’s more to Derek than you’re led to believe. Rumor has it he has ties to the Jerome crime family. And given the fact that Sam, Alexis, Danny and Kiki are briefly featured in the promo, one has to wonder if it’s all connected.
