‘Girls’ James LeGros Lands ‘Fatherly’ Role on ‘Revenge’

Another new face is coming to the Hamptons this fall when ABC’s Revenge returns and this one comes with a bible. James LeGros (Girls) has been cast in the recurring role of Father Paul.

While many of the residents could probably benefit from spiritual guidance, Emily (Emily VanCamp) is the one to seek out Father Paul for the first time…or so it seems. But the man of the cloth also has ties to the Grayson family, according to E!Online, which broke the casting news.

LeGros joins Revenge’s previously announced newcomers Justin Hartley (Emily Owens, M.D., Smallville), who signed on for the role of Victoria’s (Madeleine Stowe) eldest son Patrick, Karine Vanisse (Pan Am), who plays a woman from Daniel’s (Josh Bowman) past and Diogo Morgado (The Bible), who portrays a doctor for the soapy drama’s third season.

In addition to his role on Girls, LeGros is known for his role as Mark Albert on Ally McBeal.

Revenge kicks off its third season on Sunday, Sept. 29 at 9/8c on ABC.
