‘Sharknado’ Actress, Aubrey Peeples, Coming to ABC’s ‘Nashville’

Aubrey Peeples has booked a recurring role on Nashville.

After battling a tornado of sharks in Sy-Fy’s breakout summer cult hit, Sharknado, Audrey Peeples will be making the move to Nashville in the role of Layla. The character is a runner-up in a hit reality competition show that has allowed her a chance to burst onto the Nashville music scene. Outwardly, she’s sweet, innocent, and gracious, but things aren’t as they appear. Could she be a little competition for Juliette Barnes?

Peeples will make her first appearance in the second episode of Nashville’s sophmore season, which premieres Wednesday, September 25 at 10:00 pm ET/PT.

The casting was initially reported by Entertainment Weekly.
